The last tongs you'll ever buy.
Built to last
Premium stainless steel, reinforced hinge, a grip that will always holds up.
"Precision-engineered grilling tongs with a built-in flip guide. Because the perfect steak isn't luck, it's technique."

The flip guide, included
A simple, tested system for knowing exactly when to flip. No more guessing.
Family tested
Every steak, every version, tasted and approved before it left the kitchen and drawing board.
FLIP-POINT: The Build. The Science.
The Steel
Every Flip-Point pair starts with stainless steel. The same grade used in professional kitchen tools, chosen for corrosion resistance and a weight that feels substantial without being clumsy in the hand.

The Hinge
The hinge is the part cheap tongs get wrong first. Ours is precision cut and tested to countless open-close cycles before it even ships. The action stays tight - no wobble, no drift, countless prototypes tested.

The Grip
The grip was shaped around actual hands, not a mold pulled from a catalog. Silicone over a contoured core gives you control even when it's oily, wet, hot, or you've been at the grill for an hour. It's built to be held, not just to look good in a photo.
The Precision Tip
The tip geometry took well over 10 prototypes to get right. It had to be wide enough to hold a thick steak or a delicate fillet without crushing it, tight enough to lift a single asparagus spear clean off the grate.

About Us
It started with a steak and a son who wanted to learn.
Like a lot of dads, I wanted to pass something down. Not just how to cook, but how to cook well. Consistently. Confidently.
So I set myself a challenge: figure out the exact
variables that turn a good steak into a perfect one, every single time.
I went down all the rabbit holes. Thickness, starting temperature, grill heat, resting time, when to flip and why. I tested, adjusted, and tested again until I had something I was proud of, a simple, reliable guide to the perfect steak flip.
The kind of thing I wished someone had handed me years ago.
My son got it first. It worked. He nailed his steak. Then I thought: other people would want this. So I tried to figure out how to share it. A guide on its own felt flimsy.
Why would a stranger trust a piece of paper from a brand they’d never heard of?
I needed something people would actually want, something they’d use every time they fired up the grill. Then it hit me.
I was standing at the grill, cheap tongs in hand, running another test - and the tongs let me down. Thin. Weak. The kind you buy without thinking and replace without noticing.
And I thought: what if the guide came with the tongs?
Not as an afterthought. Not as a freebie stapled to a mediocre product. But as a pair of genuinely premium tongs - the kind you’d actually be proud to own - with the flip guide included because it makes them even more valuable.
That was the moment Flip-Point became real.
We obsessed over the tongs the same way I’d obsessed over the guide. Weight, balance, grip, hinge strength, the feel in your hand after an hour at the grill. We weren’t interested in building something cheap. We wanted to build something you’d reach for every single time - and never have to replace.
Then something unexpected happened. What started as a father and son project quietly became something much bigger.
My daughter and son - now 22 and 20 - jumped in. They tested the tongs, gave honest feedback on the guide, and brought energy and ideas we hadn’t even considered. They’ve taken on the marketing and are behind the camera for our product videos, capturing the brand with the kind of authenticity you simply can’t manufacture.
My wife tested every steak that came off that grill - and her feedback on taste, texture and the real-world outcome of the guide shaped the final version more than anything else.
Suddenly, Flip-Point wasn’t just a business idea. It was a family project. Everyone had a stake in it. Everyone wanted it to be great.
That’s what you’re holding when you hold a pair of Flip-Point tongs. Not a product designed in a corporate office and built to a budget. But something a family believed in enough to pour their weekends, their opinions, their honest feedback - and a lot of steaks - into getting right.
Tools and knowledge, side by side - so you can cook with confidence every time.
The perfect steak is closer than you think.
Welcome to Flip-Point.
Yours sincerely,
Paul
